  1. I play that a 10 either adds or subtracts 10 from the value. For quick play, if you can’t play without exceeding 99 you’re out immediately.

  2. Thank you so much. I was searching for this game for years. The last time I played this was like 6 years ago.

  3. Hey! U forgot something. Can u tell wut to do if all of the cards (the cards taken from the players after each turn) finish from there?

  4. I always knew that Aces are only 1 count. The fun thing about this game is gambling and that it can be played by 8 people or so… Make sure to enforce the proper rules when playing eg. people will try to grab a card from the deck and then play from 4, you MUST play one card from 3 and only grab one after. I guess it's a nice game to play with kids (obviously not gambling, for matches or whatever) to practice adding up to 99.

  5. We play 99 on our family vacations. Here’s how it plays with a Dodecue deck: http://www.dodecgame.com/dodecue99.html

  6. Adding games are notably foreign in the English speaking world for the most part, but many are quite interesting to play and this one is no exception. To other viewers: note that there's a popular trick taking game of the same name with which you may confuse this game if you simply do a Google search for the rules. On that note, I'd like to suggest the trick taking game of 99 for a future video since it's also quite fun and demanding of skill.
